Pangolin Rondavels
A more reasonable way to afford a holiday!A comfortable budget option camp approximately 500mtr from the main lodge. There are 4 traditional thatched rondavels and a pool. The camp consists of 2 rondavels with a “Bush Bathroom” – outdoor shower, covered toilet & basin plus 2 rondavels which share a separate bathroom & outdoor shower. Beds offer percale linen & towels are supplied.
All rooms have a wardrobe, seating, & hospitality trays with kettle, milk, coffee & teas, and ceiling fans. A boma is available for braais where guests need to bring their own braai tools, tableware & charcoal. Free Wi-Fi access is available at the main lodge. There is also a communal lounge where guests can relax in cooler or wet weather days.
The Breakfast is included in the Pangolin rate and there is a Half board option. All guests take meals booked at the main Shikwari Suites camp. Satellite DSTV & Wi-Fi is available at the Shikwari Suites lounge. Please note there is no capacity for more than 2 Adults in the rondavels
Hornbill Rondavel
Hornbill Rondavel comprises of a Super King bed or 2 x 3/4 bed plus a single bed with percale sheets please on request with booking. There is a ceiling fan, Private Bush Bathroom with covered toilet & basin & outdoor shower, it is semi-open air and Toiletries are supplied, small fridge/freezer & hospitality tray with coffee & Tea.
The rondavels share a lounge with a pool. Guests are requested to bring their own swimming towels and emergency light for possible Eskom cuts due to storms.
The rondavel is set in a circle around the pool in the garden.
2 Children age 5 to 12 years welcome to share with parents and are accommodated fold-out beds. Teens 13-18 will require their own room and may share with one other adult and/or two siblings under 13 years. There is no capacity in these rooms for extra adults.
Drongo Rondavel – Shared separate bathroom & Outdoor Shower
Shared separate Bathroom (shares with Shrike), with bath, toilet & basin & outdoor shower; Towels & Toiletries Ceiling fan, small fridge/freezer & hospitality tray with Coffee & Tea. Has a Queen bed & 1 single bed with percale sheets; an extra mattress is available for another child.
The rondavels share a lounge with a pool. Guests are requested to bring their own swimming towels & emergency light for possible Eskom cuts due to storms or load shedding. The rondavels are set in a circle around the pool in the garden.
